With an ongoing increase in build requests, it became necessary to add equipment and additional operator support to keep up with demand. This quickly outgrew our e-mail system which, in turn, required a more robust solution for processing orders. GrabCAD Shop has been a great addition to our lab.

It allows you to monitor what’s happening in your lab at all times, and gives the students the ability to learn. And I think it’s kind of creating a best practices mindset in their heads before they even get out of school.

I love how easy it was to setup GrabCAD Shop, with available machines / materials for my company and model shop. It took only 20 minutes.

We’ve switched over completely to GrabCAD Shop. Our previous print request process was a Word document, and no one liked filling that form out. GrabCAD Shop’s simple set-up makes it a lot quicker to create print orders, and easier for me to manage them through the process. And we like how all the jobs are stored in the cloud, so we can always go back and reprint an old job if needed!
