thats awesome, but what are the requirements to get into the EAA?.

solidworks is a million times better than that piece of garbage software fusion360, but if you are cheap enough to not want to spend any money on software, inventor will do as an alternative to it.

I don't think there were any requirements to join the EAA. It looked like it was open to everyone (as long as you pay the membership fee).
I did not read all of the fine print, but it looked like a pretty good deal, especially for people that are not in, or planning to go back to school.

I do use the toolbox occasionally, but most of the other missing features I would not really miss.
I assume it is an educational seat, so it will likely be limited in its ability to open commercial seat files as well. But for $40 it is a great offer. Even more so since to qualify for the Student version/price you'd likely have to be a student and spending a bunch on tuition and fees.
