There are so many F-16s in the Library, why?

Because when you read the background on the Viper, it was a fighter that exceeded expectation as a light weight low cost fighter. Next to the F-15 with it high cost at the time of production. Extremely capable as a air superior fighter and ground attack platform. Operated by many NATO air forces and just a cool looking jet.
