I Designed It, I Built It

Hi!

I built a tool cart for Siegmund welding table and it's fixturing tools. I wanted to make something compact and user friendly and easily moveable. Now that I have used it for a while, the good part is that it's very sturdy. My fear was the center of the mass and it could fall over if I ran into some cables with the wheels. Luckily that's not the problem. Also, the containing method of clamps is very comfortable. What I would do differently now is:

• perforate the sides too to get some more light in
• install the drawers on the sliders with a 2/3 length opening and self-locking system
• would use the back side to add some containing system for longer tools like box level, straight bar, long crow bar etc.
