I am designing a planter, as in the photo attached.
I used contour roll to make the base body, then I unfolded the model to create the rectangular holes and slats pattern.
When I refolded the model back the slats got stretched from the top. In reality, these are bent each separately, and they have constant width.
So, my question is: is there a way to roll a sheet without stretching specific parts on it?
In my case, the length increase can be compensated from the gaps in between the slats.
