Babes i already tried but as i am a bit thick in the head i need a more detailed tutorial

The sun sail woul be built as a half at first, and use the same method as used for square-to-round sheet metal, but usung curves instead of segments. Then create loft as surface, and then thicken, and mirror the solid thickened part to complete sunsail.

Make it as a boundary patch surface model and then thicken it.

Much like the real sun sail, you define the edges as straight lines or simple curves in space, then connect them with a boundary patch.
