Does anyone know of a software program that has a compare tool, just like the one GrabCAD used to have?

GrabCAD used to have a compare tool that was very useful for visually checking the deviation between two models, particularly between a scanned mesh (STL) and CAD model (STEP). It also had a slide bar to smoothly switch between model. Anything similar out there?
