I am a new grabCAD user. I landed here because I want to use CAD to plan cooling installation in a tower server. It's close to your use case, but it's based on a Phanteks Enthoo Pro II case (as a matter of policy, I pick euro built hardware whenever possible).

I am working with OnShape Professional. I have tried several approaches to digitize the case, but it's not very accurate. I need the relative location of holes and components. Modeling most components is easy (a power supply is a box).

On GrabCAD I found models of most standard connectors and two models of SP3 CPU sockets. One is accurate but fused as a single solid, and it models an original SP3, for AMD EPYC server processors. The other one is incomplete, inaccurate, but is an SP3r4 with the right size for Threadripper Pro workstation CPUs. I will share the final SP3r4 socket when I am done, although technically I could live with a much simplified version.

Regarding model accuracy, I think that in my case, to plan cabling and tubing and generate stunning visuals, a 1 mm accuracy is fine.

I'd like to understand why you want custom parts in your case. I currently believe that vendors sell a bunch of mounting accessories covering all cases, and in addition I can 3D print small plastic mounts should that be necessary.
